Ubiquity Update

UbiquityMozilla’s experimental Firefox plug-in Ubiquity has just been updated with a variety of features just to make our internet lifestyle more convenient as ever. The main feature of the update has focused the improvement of the speed on searching, the new slick looks on the interface and you can customize it.

This first thing you will observe on the new version of Ubiquity is the interface. It’s beautiful, elegant and simple at the same time. One of the nice things about the interface is that it is customizable. So now anyone can make your own interface. You can change the skin of the interface by your own choice that pleases you.

The great thing about the new version is that the performance is much faster and responsive than the older version. Whether typing a search on google or asking wiki, you will immediately see the results in a snap.

One feature of the add-on is relevancy which will remember the services you often used. Like if ever you often asked google, Ubiquity will remember it so that the next time you used it, you need no longer to use the google keyword tool.

Just in case you don’t know Ubiquity. It is an experimental add-on command line utility on Firefox which was launched in August 26, 2008.
