Travbuddy was launched in 2005 by TravBuddy LLC which is a privately owned company, and by the creators and brothers Eric and David Bjorndahl. As of March 2008 TravBuddy has almost one million three hundred fifty thousand (1,350,000) registered contributors. As of the same date, TravBuddy has also provided free access to more than sixty-five thousand (65,000) blogs; seven hundred fifty thousand (750,000) photographs; and seventeen thousand (17,000) travel reviews.
