So, how can you connect with old friends and acquaintances? Or how can they find you if both of you had lost touch for a decade already? You and I and most people will have to do one basic thing in locating for someone- GOOGLE the name of a friend.

Unluckily, the results you get from google are long lists of social network sites and profile but you can not contact your friends unless you are a member of these online social networks. That fact is a big hindrance for easy and faster communication between friends.

What if you are organizing an Alumni reunion and got a long list of names to contact? How can you handle that in the least time that you could? And what if you google a friend’s name and the social network list that a friend is a member of is a mile long? Which of these social networks are you going to register to contact a friend? Are you sure then that the social network chosen is the most frequently visited account?

The social network list perhaps will include linkedin social network, facebook social networking, myspace social network, twitter social networking and ning social network to name a few of the popular network to use in communicating with friends.

I am of the opinion that the best social network to find friends for alumni reunion or for any other reason is WIKIWORLDBOOK.

All the limitation mentioned above is taken cared off with wikiworldbook. It is the easiest and fastest way to reconnect with friends. Wikiworldbook is a free online global address book. It only takes three clicks away to reconnect with friends. You or your friends can send message even if they are not a member of the wikiworldbook community. And the message then converted into an email and is delivered straight to your email address; you do not even have to log in to read your message.

One great feature of wikiworldbook is people tracing. It allows you to create a profile for the friends that you are looking and once they hit the web, they will be automatically informed that you are looking for them.

For those reunion organizers from family to alumni reunion, what social networks are useful to you? Have you tried using wikiwordlbook?

I used to browse the internet when I get home from work. After I relaxed for an hour after facing the monitor for about eight hours a day, I browsed the internet visiting my social network sites, read some news or surfing what’s new in the world of the internet.

I have more than 27 social network sites, though some of them I never had the time to update still I look for more social network sites that give the best features and services. Until I met this great social network site, the Virb.

The best about Virb since you can import your other activities from your other websites. If you have a blog from another website you can import it here, you can import as well your activities on twitter or your pictures from your flickr.

If you want to find new things in Virb you should have to go in the Activity. Here you can discover updated contents right exactly from the profile you follow. You can also find here what your friends up to, or what they like. And if you also like something adventurous clicking the Explore is ideal for you. There are many features that Virb are featuring. And for sure you will love it all!
