Update Your Contacts with Plaxo

PlaxoPlaxo is one of those useful social media sites which inform you of the recent updates of you contacts. It is a social networking service and online address book founded by Sean Parker who was a co-founder of Napster; Minh Nguyen; and two Stanford engineering students Cameron Ring and Todd Masonis.

Plaxo is a site which provides automatic updating of contact information. The users of Plaxo and their contacts store their information on the site’s servers. When the information in Plaxo is edited by its user, the changes appear in all of the address books of all those who listed the account changer in their own address books. In Plaxo, once contacts are stored in the central location, it is possible to list connections between contacts and access the address book from anywhere.

The core services offered by Plaxo are free and are accessible from the web and selected email programs. Users will be able to access any information wherever and whenever they need it. Plaxo is accessible on a user’s calendar on the work computer, the user’s to-do list on his or her home computer, or on the user’s phone address book.

Plaxo is an interesting tool to use and it keeps users in touch with the people they really care about.
