How to gain blog subscribers

Perhaps you were very excited to launch your new blog company. Everything is ready; your content is relevant, fresh and informative and the design of your blog is really eye catchy. However, before you decide to post your new blog think of this also: blog subscribers. Indeed, you are done making your RSS feed yet no one seems subscribing your blog. Of course this could be so embarrassing. Well, if you want to generate a long term traffic and links you should have to think of the strategies to get a group of active readers or followers to your blog.

Here are 5 tips on how to get blog subscribers:

1. Make it obvious and simple for the readers to subscribe to your RSS feed blog.

2. If ever you have another existing newsletter, blog, social media networking site or forum, take advantage of using these in convincing your audience to subscribe to your new RSS feed blog. If they love your content or the whole part of your blog, they would recommend your RSS feed to others.

3. Use the feed directories. Using the feed directories won’t let you see a lot of subscribers to your RSS feed right away. However, you will reach the area of readers who usually used these directories and eventually found and subscribe your new feeds. You should have to find a list of RSS feed directories where you can submit you feed to.

4. Update your blog everyday and write relevant content. If you do not often update your blog with a relevant or entertaining content there would be possibilities that your readers would not subscribe to your RSS feed.

5. To make your blog more entertaining and enticing require them to become a blog subscriber. You can make a contest which would require a subscription, make a badge for the winner which you would place on that blogger’s site and link back to your site.
