Most of the people commit mistakes upon writing their professional headline that usually been located right beneath in their name. The common mistakes that been committed is just to simply put the name and the title without using some words that can catch the attention of other people. Its more better to write it in a specific manager such as “I manage a complex projects that involves IT and marketing strategies” rather than saying as a “project manager for the M company”. Since, using a catching descriptive headline will be a great support in managing its profile for its career success.
3. Proper label of websites that displays its work or blog.
LinkedIn offers users the ability to list its websites or blog that are quite in line with its work. Alba recommends some aspects upon writing and presenting its blog or website in LinkedIn in a more complex manner. Alba suggested that it’s better to write it in a personalize manner starting with the usage of “my” and connect it to the company that been working or where this site or blog for.
4. Considering a vanity URL.
Upon giving a users profile address and business card must be concise and even self-explanatory as possible in order to obtain a good profile. When the user wants to gain or create a LinkedIn URL of its choice, it can be attain through editing it in the public profile section.
5. Finishing with a strong SEO friendly summary
The summary section of the LinkedIn profile is one of the biggest opportunities that most job seekers are missing out upon writing their LinkedIn profile. Alba suggested to write down the necessary information especially the abilities and even potentials as much as possible.
