Ways To Update Your Facebook Status

Most of people nowadays are hooked up with Facebook. This is where users can connect with old friends, meet new friends, get entertained when they are bored and the social networking site is even a best marketing platform for businesses.
There is so much to do in Facebook like play games, take quizzes, and most especially update statuses. However, not all users have the time to log in to the site and a round-the-clock access to the internet. So here are some ways to update your Facebook status message and be updated as well.

1.  Mobile. Get update anywhere and everywhere you want. Activating allows Facebook Mobile to send text messages to your phone. You can receive notifications for friend requests, messages, wall posts, and status updates from your friends. You can also update your status, search for phone numbers, or upload photos and videos from your phone. Just go to Account settings and choose the mobile tab. However, it depends on whether or not your mobile service provider carries that service.

2. Firefox Browser. There are several plugins available for Firefox. Just go to Tools and choose Add-ons.

3. Personal upload Email. Just go to the Facebook Mobile Page to get your personal upload email, compose a message with the photo or video as an attachment, and the subject as the caption or status message, send it to your upload email, and you’re done.

4. Instant Messengers (IM). Just add Facebook chat bot to your friends list. Once it’s added to your contacts, you can send instant messages to it and it’ll appear on your site as a status update. However, this is available for Yahoo, Gtalk, AOL, and MSN.

5. Micro-blogging websites. If you have accounts on Plurk and Twitter just link your respective Plurk or Twitter accounts to Facebook and all your status updates on the micro-blogging sites will automatically appear as updates on Facebook.

6. Status Update Services. There are several websites that offers simultaneous status updates on all your social media sites. You simply post on their site and they will post the update to all your social media sites that you registered. Examples of this status update sites are Ping.fm and Hellotxt.
