Windows Live Messenger 2009
Windows Live Messenger or MSN Messenger a former name; refers to MSN instant messaging system in the World Wide Web created by Microsoft Corporation that is designed and worked with Windows Vista, Windows XP, Windows 7, Windows Server 2003, Windows Mobile and Window Server 2008. MSN Messenger was first lunch to clients on July 22, 1999, and December 13, 2005 as a Windows Live Messenger.
Windows Live Messenger 2009 refers to the original version 9.0 and on the later part assigned the technical version number 14.0 in order to mix Windows Live and Microsoft Office programs.
On November 20, 2007, a week after Microsoft sent out emails welcoming and declaring the Windows Live Messenger as a Beta 0 program. Microsoft sent an invitation to MSN Messenger members regarding Windows Live Messenger “9” beta program .
Windows Live Messenger 2009 was begun as a beta program on September 17, 2008 and officially known for the released of new beta known as Windows Live Messenger 2009 Beta (Milestone 3, Build 14.0.5027.908), which was made available to the general public as a free download.
Windows Live Messenger 2009 RC (Build 14.0.8050.1202) and Windows Live Wave 3 software applications or Windows Live Essentials was released by Microsoft on December 15, 2008. This version saw a removal of the custom sign-in sound feature however it is still possible to select a sound for other individuals, as well as changes to how the background image chosen is applied to the conversation windows. This build also included over 200 bug fixes including the widely hated “Custom Emoticon Bug” and saving of pictures when using the Photo sharing feature. Windows Live Messenger 2009 released the final version on 7 January 2009.
