Nowadays, with the new trend of technologies including the emergence of the internet most of the people from all over the world are using the advantages of it, especially to businessmen. In fact most of the businessmen in these recent days are joining the recently called social networking where they can promote their products and services via participating and joining the conversation and conferences of what social networking features. However, based on my experienced and some of the articles I’ve read, there are some things for you to remember when joining social networking especially for business purposes;

1. If you were dealing a business in social networking it is best for you to meet your clients in person, since some of them do not trust much the internet.
2. Remember that despite the high-tech way of the internet, there are still many scammers who were trying to scam you and letting you believe that joining their group of social networking is beneficial which at the end is not.
3. When joining social networking to promote your business remember to update your profile always regarding what businesses you establish. Tell your client what products and services you offer.
4. According to Aase who writes blog marketing through the use of Facebook, “that best way to make your business grow is by word of mouth, also by recommendations, and by communities and peers”. Following his principles perhaps can help your business grow.
5. Since social networking is compared to a web crawling interconnecting other networks, joining other networks are great idea too when promoting your site of business. However, it is best to focus only in one or two social networking since it would be hard and confusing for you managing too many social network profiles.
6. And the best thing that you should do to be more appealing to your readers or clients is to put all your credentials and expertise in your profile, marketing your skills is the best way for you to do when joining social networking and when you want your business to grow.
