Social media ad firm Appssavvy raises $3.1 Million for new venture

With Appssavvy’s massive marketing campaign it made venture agreements with different companies including the most reputable and industry leader About.com of Mr. Scott Kurnit.

Appssavvy, is another social media site which is able to connect advertisers looking for campaigns in social media as well as the developers that build advertisements in the form of widgets. On Tuesday it announced it is able to raise around $3.1 million funds for its Series A venture. Leading the round was True Ventures, with investor Scott Kurnit also participating in the said event.

Appssavvy also earlier this month made a deal with NBC Universal to become its exclusive sales and advertising team for the company’s iCue social media application.

About.com’s Kurnit said social media has the power to connect marketers and the consumers in many ways – and Appssavvy has got the best team well positioned and have the huge potential which can really give good future for advertising.

Kurnit said the team can even maximize its monetization and advertising potential and make it even very interesting for the internet. The team has all the power to unlock its potential and give decent future for advertising in the internet.
