It is a connection of network to another networks consist of millions of public and private, business, academic and government networks institution from local to global scope that linked by copper wire, wireless connection system, fiber-optic cables and other connection technologies. Internet carries wide array of data information resources and services such as electronic mail and the interlinked of hypertext documents of the World Wide Web, the other Internet services are file transfer, file sharing, online chat, online gaming and person-to-person communication via voice and video thru Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) system.

In 1960s Internet research project was funded by United Stated for their military agencies to build robust computer networks system.

In 2009, an estimated of 25 percent of the world population uses the Internet services.
