One of the tools I have found that helps you make your content easy to bookmark and share on a wide variety of social networking sites is AddThis.

AddThis will provide you a bookmarking and sharing button that helps you distribute your content across the Web by making it simple for your visitors to bookmark pages and share them with others. This will drive you more traffic back to your site, increase your link popularity and ultimately your search engine rankings.

When you use this service, it means you don’t include a different button for each bookmarking service. And the service would also give you statistics on its usage and thankfully provide you free of charge!
