A microblogging and lifestreaming platform has been introduced to the general public. No major changes of the features has been made but only with a few minor changes that has been needed to boosts its functionality. Notice the difference?

Here are some of the changes:

1. Improved posting interface

Posting new items to FriendFeed has been updated. The new links make the posting function more obvious, accessible, and also distinguish it clearly from the search box. The search box has also been made prominent by moving it to the top of the page.

2. Left side Navigation

The sidebar has been moved to the left-hand side to make navigation easier for those with wide screen. And the width of the sidebar narrow has been kept so that those with a smaller screens do not have too much space taken up by the sidebar.

3. Rooms navigation

The All Rooms page has also been updated so that it is easier for the user to see a comprehensive list of the rooms a user participates in.

4. Easier use of Friend lists
A user can now choose which friend lists he/she would goes in the moment he/she subscribes.

All in all, a great set of updates to the service, and all the more reason to check things out again if you’ve recently fallen off the FriendFeed bandwagon.
