· Status- this feature allows the user to inform their friends their actions, whereabouts, and the latest tidbits about themselves and their lives

· Photos- this is the feature where users can create albums and upload photos; unlimited number of photos can be uploaded but each album can hold only 60 photos

· The Wall- the Wall is the space on each user’s profile page which allows his or her friends to post messages which the other members of his or her network can see; it is visible to anyone who can view the user’s profile depending on the user’s privacy settings

· News Feed- the News Feed is the part of the user’s profile page which highlights the actions done by the user and done on the user such as changes in the user’s profile, upcoming events, and birthdays of the user’s friends.

· Gifts- Gifts is a feature on Facebook which allows its users to send virtual gifts to their friends and the gift appear on the recipient’s profile.
