Will Facebook Win Your Heart for 2009?

Connects 150 million members

When I registered for Facebook, I was not sure that I would love it. I kind mashed all information. Simply put, it was such a bore to me. Pardon me. Everybody- I really mean- everybody is getting crazy with the most popular network in town- Facebook. But not me… yet.

Facebook never won my heart. I never saw the essence of being there and doing all those stuff. But 2009 is indeed will be a great year for me and Facebook.

When they say, Facebook will be great this year. Better believe it. In fact, Facebook reached the 150 Million Member last Wednesday. And 50% of that number logged in to the network everyday. Imagine that much people going into one network everyday. They say that Facebook Connect is amazingly a work of genius; it transcends the Generation y and z means of communicating, have faith in it.

Celebrities, presidents and royal blood have accounts on this social network. But I do not seem to careless not until I received one private message.

A private message from a close friend from college which I lost communication for 12 years; a message that connects my past and present; things happened and decisions had been made that can not be even written in this article; suddenly the impact of this network avalanche on my consciousness: Facebook is unstoppable for 2009.

I could only say thus: Facebook can find connections long lost forgotten. It can open millions of connections to people who do not expect to find anybody in the network. Facebook became a life for many.

At the start of 2009, Facebook won my heart. Will it win yours?

About the Author

Beverly

Reading is my passion. To create pictures from words is my dream. To be able to write and convey message, influence and move people is one of my fantasies. Avery effective writer at that. I also want to be an educator... not only in the four corners of a classroom but also beyond those enclosures. I want to be an educator... of life, love, languages and travel. I have already started the process of becoming one. I am studying to get a certificate for teaching to get a licensed and become a licensed educator. Let it be through internet or through a university. It will take me a year to complete my Professional Education. I have always been fascinated with languages and now is the right time to reach it. I aim to communicate at least 1 European language let it be Spanish, Italian or French. To be able to widen my horizons and reach out and understand articles and blogs beyond the English language. Besides reading and writing… travel… is another glory. Someday I will be able to blog about cities that captures the heart of many. I am also a fanatic of Greek Mythology and Inspirational Stories and Poem. One poem written by an 85 year old woman dying of cancer “If I have My Life to Live All Over Again” and a short story “The Story of Rose” are just two of my favorites.
